Yes those wonderful folks who started Vietnam and Korea. And up until the 60s controlled the Jim Crow South political machine. Brought the riot squad against peaceful protestors in Chicago during the 68 Democratic convention. My family has been Dems since they first voted. All hail the Tammany Hall machine, the Chicago outfit, may they forever tell the world how they help,..I hate both parties we need to find a true viable person to drain all forms of corruption.
As a brown Asian, I would much rather have a racist, xenophobic Republican in power in Warshington than a Democrat of any stripe. The Democrats have done infinitely more damage to my continent in the last hundred years than all the Republicans put together.
The whole idea of representative government is the representatives are supposed to work together for the good of the country. They are supposed to compromise and be pragmatic in governance of the country. That way they come to compromise deals that neither side is completely happy about but in general will be good for the country. This take no prisoners cat fight that we have degraded into doesn’t do anybody any good, especially the middle class. We have many problems, infrastructure, jobs, medical costs, a screwed up tax code and education that could be easily improved if they would just work on it and arrive at pragmatic solutions.
Does anyone else see the irony of calling the “Democrats, the party of the working class?” The problem, or one of many, is that there are so many NOT working. Waiting for the handout.
