OK, I get it that the camera in panel 2 is pointing upwards, and that a shoe is falling, but what the heck are those lines that look like tiny mittens connected by strings?

Looks to me like one of those mobiles you hang on the ceiling…..hers probably has pictures of all the backstreet boys! lol
