When we did trees, we bought a white artificial so we could use different themes each year. Pink lights and balls, then purple, next blue were nice. The trash was next and never any more trees, just lots of other decorations like real handmade wreaths and such. Just nice stuff.
Does anyone put up their Christmas tree the day before Christmas? I’ve seen that done in movies and TV shows. If you don’t have a tree up by Christmas eve, why bother??? I used to like putting mine up the day before Thanksgiving and taking it down after New Years day. One year I had a live tree. After I took all the decorations off I stood it out on the porch. All the birds that came by had a great time in it!!!
