Too bad Lebron’s got one year to win his ring before there’s another NBA lockout. If the Four Horsemen AKA the Boston Celtics don’t get them, then Sting AKA Kobe Bryant will.

Early in a pro athlete’s career they should go for the maximum money. After they build up their bank account to the max then go for the championship team.

NBA Basketball? I don’t think so. They used to play basketball, but no more. Too many fouls before a player is out of the game. Nets that are too low. Illegal plays are now considered top shelf (offensive goal tending and slam dunking). Interminable final seconds. Emphasis on dancing rather than basketball skills (today’s NBA is more like figure skating than it is basketball but without the judges). And, of course, strategies and plays based on promoting poor sportsmanship. Ridiculous pajama costumes. I won’t even mention the hoodlums that are recruited to play.

Oh, right. I forgot the racist comments. LOTS of racist comments coming from people who think they are funnier than the cartoonist.
The average comic strip reader is not a very good person, nor do I think they are any good at sports. At all.

Smoky, buddy, the nets have been that height for over 100 years. Dancing? Pajamas? Thugs? Did you hear about this over the wireless? Dunking was only illegal in college for a few years in the 70’s. Offensive goaltending is still illegal, and still called as such.
However, LBJ is still a self-absorbed jerk who believes he’s “the King” but his actions show he doesn’t believe he can actually win on his own.
