And it’s still cheaper than the Bush Tax cuts.

It’s also interesting how Ramirez never notes a Dem program’s cost over 10 years, doesn’t cost as much as a Bush program cost every year. (Like the REAL cost of wars, PLUS “defense spending”.)

Jade, there’s a huge difference between a bloated, inefficient and wasteful government program that takes money from our wallets, and a tax cut that allows people to keep more of their money- though they still have to hand over way too much to the government.

Can you understand how many of us feel about a wasteful government that takes our money and blows much of it on lazy government workers who get paid way too much, get benefits most of us could only dream of, but do little or no real work? Or all the government programs that spend our money like crazy for the most worthless things?

EVERY time the government comes up with a new program or to “improve” an old government program, it ALWAYS ends up costing many times more than they told us, ALWAYS ends up with massive waste, inefficiency and bureaucracy, and does far less than was promised.

And once they get their foot in the door on something, it’s pretty much impossible to get it canceled, no matter how bad it turns out!

You guys are telling us, trust them, they’re the government and they’re here to help you! We say the more “help” we get from the government the faster America goes into debt and the bigger our problems grow!

Medicare has been around more than ten years and the costs keep going up. I don’t know of any government program which has decreased in costs from year to year. As for the costs of Bush’s War, do you really think we would have had to go to war and spend all of those billions of dollars if Clinton hadn’t destroyed the CIA Budget, thus crippling our ability to identify potential terrorist (aka 911) and stop them before they happened? Thank Clinton for allowing us to take one on the chin.

Why is it that working hand in hand to help your fellow man is not a reasonable option.

Can someone demonstrate how the current system is fair and balanced?

Is it showing the American spirit, when, because we utilize a private system, children are allowed to suffer?

If all of us coming together helps us as a nation why does that have to be read as evil socialism instead of societal good.

Because everyone certainly pays all of their taxes and don’t use any sort of loopholes or offshore accounts, right? GE makes a profit off of their taxes, for example. Things are so bad for them. But at least people get to pocket a couple of more dollars from their overseas businesses and investments. Thank goodness.

What we need is to bring back the GOP

The GOP is against Big Government The GOP will never raise taxes The GOP will never increase the cost of Government The GOP will never allow America to be attacked The GOP will keep the economy strong because they love, and protect small business and the middle class The GOP always does what is best for America

What exactly is wrong with all the hunters & gatherers throwing something in the pot (made by the producers) to keep the medicine man healthy? Most of what he says is just mumbo-jumbo, but he’s handy to keep around in case you need a wound stitched. The guy telling the hunters, gatherers & producers to work harder to keep his gold plated champagne bucket full can go %$# himself. Who is John Galt, really?

Let’s see, we can pay pennies for preventative medicine, and save huge costs of hospital care, or we can buy bombs, rockets and weapons systems that blow themselves up.

Those against health care, please remain forever at the back of the line to see a doc. (practice self-CPR)

Yep, keeping people healthy and productive is certainly “nonsense”.

the conservatives who actually READ and STUDIED the Obama Care legislation that will become U.S. Law, were correct….the “death panels” are mandated.

“Doctor” Berwick will merely be the Death Panel -in-Chief.

Other terms used to cover up “death panel” include “practising triage” on who gets treatment…. In socialistic programs in Europe and Canada…many people have died waiting or REFUSED for treatment. Those who want treatment and can afford it leave their country to get and pay for medical care.

Life-saving treatments are routinely denied to older patients who need care such as kidney dialysis…

People die in the U.S. for lack of healthcare too and worse it’s not an oddity.

And if you think insurance providers put you first then you have yet to really put them to the test.

andy you are truly out of touch with the world around you. Spend some time around a neighborhood health clinic, talk with the staff, talk with the patients. As always you need to broaden your horizons.
