Actually Old Faithful has been becoming more and more erratic. Over time the interval has increased to an average of 90 minutes, although it ranges from 66 to 120 minutes. Eruptions are closer together after shorter eruptions, and further apart after longer eruptions.

If they can somehow figure out how to operate a computer they can watch the Old Faithful webcam to see it erupt.
