oops. Looks like Danae is developing an immunity to The Ekert Effect. And just where did Pauly go in the fourth panel? Did he fall off and end up between panels 3 and 4? He’s certainly leaning outside the edge of panel 3.

Actually, on further thought - how does Cap’n Eddie know so much about Megaconglomecorp and it’s doings? This whole thing couldn’t be one of Eddie’s bourbon-soaked hallucinations, could it? No No No No No.

You didn’t realize cats can live in multiple planes of existence? Me thinks the cat knows too much…

Apparently the ekert effect only lasts for a little while. Eddie sure knows Danae!! Don’t know if Paulie fell off (she was dozing in panel 2) or if she just was lost in the background behind Eddie’s head in the last panel.

Cats are magic. I found mine crying in the basement this morning. Nobody’s been there in a week. Magic I tell you.

Well, if Paulie is anything like my cat,Sadie, she’ll be curled up on Cap’n Eddie’s feet taking a catnap after having had a little snack. Even the Ekert on the loose doesn’t perturb Paulie!

Paulie is not a magical cat. He’s an alien cat, don’t confuse advanced tech with magic.

Maybe Paulie had to use the little cat’s room? lol

Cap’n Eddie’s mysterious past will lead us to the answers. It’s no imagination - I wouldn’t be surprised if the Egghead rich guy is his long lost brother….

My concern rests in physics, if the Ekert grows every time it consumes ‘bad stuff’, imagine it at the United Nations. More especially, at the UN “Commission on the Status of Women” with Iran, Libya and Pakistan debating on the best methods of “impact adjustment”! The Ekert would rapidly grow to exceed the mass of the earth and we would start to orbit it. The only good thing there would be to put the astrologers into a tizzy.

So was Paulie leaning to the right or the left before falling off?

It will not be long before Danae is running Megaconglomecorp.

Most kitties are bad, and my research says that does happen.

At the last panel, I didn’t see what Katie looked at Danae while Danae said, “Dang!” I thought Katie smiled at Danae or did something with her facial expressionto show. Oh well!

Q: Are these two grandparents? Why are the girls there without their Dad? Don’t remember the woman’s name…what are the little markings above her head in the last panel? Ususally they mean a person is fuming silently and her expression goes along with that, but who is she mad at?

I think Kate is looking like, “Oh, no, there goes same ol’ Danae again!”

Everybody shush….Cap’n Eddie has much more to teach us.

It might put astronomers in a tizzy. Astrologers would just want to know when he was born so that they could cast his chart.

Since Danae appears to be back to her usual form, the Ekert Effect apparently wears off after a while. Which leads me to conclude that with repeated but not constant exposure to The Ekert, things could get quite manic…

I’m moving to Maine in a coupla years - I wonder if it’s near Flo’s cafe…I’d love to meet Cap’n Eddie. I’m a cat lover, too. I think I’d make a good comic character, myself. My life is not unlike “Pickles.”

Not long ago, it was revealed that Cap’n Eddie and Flo had a “fling” around the time of Woodstock. They even went together to the concert. They didn’t say it outright, but strongly implied that Eddie was Danae’s grandfather. No wonder the kid is who she is.
