Magnets can do anything! They can even make you sad (when you realize that you don’t really understand how they work).

Magnets work by the exchange of momentum. They can apply only as much force as they possess as a physical object. It would require a very large magnet to move or topple a refrigerator. A one pound magnet can exert exactly one pound of force, maximum.
