Everyone’s dream… or at least mine. I also agree that it’s insane to spend so much time at work, but not with the people who really matter to you.

I’d like to win even a small lottery, so I could take a boom box into work, plug in Johnny Paycheck, and blast “Take This Job and Shove It” as I take off my uniform and throw it at my supervisor. I loved the military, but after retiring, I hate civilian jobs.

The kids may not be crazy about the whole idea, but Roger has his priorities straight anyway.

Every day I jump out of be and yell ” I WONDER WHAT’S HAPPENING AT WORK TODAY’ Then I skip down the lane with a smile on my face and a song in my heart to see my loving co-workers and understanding supervisors who RECOGNIZE ACKNOWLEDGE and REWARD my every effort..

Lewreader I wish I had your type of supervisior. I work pt and where I’m at if anyone quits no big deal just bring on someone else. If I think I did something great boss just give a small praise. If the Admin Assist does something great high praise. For I know paper work never ends. I came up with a different time saver and how to cut back on paper idea and I didn’t get reconized for it. The Admin started to take credit by reporting it and I told the boss I’m the one who came up with the idea. Passing the middle person. Escan direct to another internet then they have to print up and delete.

Roger I agree with your family and you can’t draw unemployment either. Just becasue Jason got hurt you didn’t need to quit your job.

“The conclusion is inescapable: if productivity means anything at all, a worker [in the year 2000] should be able to earn the same standard of living as a 1950 worker in only 11 hours per week.” –Dr. Erik Rauch
