Wow. The caption in this cartoon is so far fetched that it is hard to believe Ramirez dreamed it up! Obama would never ever admit that criminals don’t obey the law because it exposes the fact all the new gun control laws he wants won’t stop criminals who have no intention of following any laws they don’t want to follow.
Why have traffic laws? People are still going to break the laws. Some of them will even get killed. So why have traffic laws at all? Come to think of it, why have ANY laws? Criminals will only break the laws anyway!
That one, so called, argument that just doesn´t make sense to me – the one with “criminals will allways get guns” … yes, but it isn´t criminals doing these school shootings. It is people with mental disabilities, loners and such you do not expect would do these things – “normal” people who got access to guns. Criminals might do shootouts against other gangs, and “normal” people get caught in between – but they do seem to have enough morals not to go to a school and shoot the children or teachers …
So why not restrict these things more, so you can still get your peen extention, but have to take a yearly check to see if you aren´t about to go insane fx.?
