How come those families always have the latest in gaming console but can’t afford a dishwasher?

I’m a lucky man…my wife loves doing dishes and vacuuming every day. She calls it Therapy. Built in dishwasher is used for storage and I make sure she has a good vacuum. She’s has worn out two Dysons and now uses a Miele…seems to be a much nicer machine.

I have neither dish washer nor game console. I could easily afford both, but a dish washer is the silliest of all household appliances if you’re feeding fewer than six people. (If you’re feeding six, should some of those lazy butts be washing the dishes?) And I have no need of a game console. It would be a pale alternative to real-life adventures. I’ve been fortunate to have been able to do most of what people sit around watching characters do on TV and wondering what it’s like to do those things. (It’s a gas, except that, unlike TV, you do have to go to the bathroom sometimes.)

    I am 20 and I’ve never had a boyfriend.

    And I couldn’t be happier.

Yet another reason why I don’t have children! I have enough trouble remembering my life before I met Tiffany!

As far as the kids know (or care), you’ve never not had kids.
