Nope, sorry. Not true at all.

If police officers continue to be hunted and executed because of the uniform they wear, you will find the shield to be a lot smaller and the good police officers moving on to safer jobs like demolitions or crab fishing up in Alaska.

Well said rallsolo, and not only that, but vigilantism will begin to find a place in our society. I just wish people understood that the real racists and bigots are the ones MAKING the laws, not the Enforcers.

All racist acts by police officers should be singled out and punished. If warranted, the police officer should be fired. .To James’ point, why not behave instead of acting uppity as you put it? If you don’t give a police officer a reason, they usually don’t harass you. This isn’t a matter of right or wrong. You have the “right” to act uppity within the bounds of the law. You should also be prepared to suffer the consequences of exercising that right. The police officer might be wrong in beating you up and you might be in a position to sue, but you’re still going to get beat up because of the decision you made. .And to NONliberal’s point, he isn’t excusing racist police officers. His point is that the law makers do more to keep minorities down and in the inner cities than any other group. Look at how welfare is designed to keep the poor on welfare. As soon as you start to succeed, welfare pulls their support of you. If you want to have a family with a mother AND a father, welfare pulls their support for the family which leaves you with a lot of single mothers. The negative aspects of programs like this are the problems nobody wants to talk about because they are indeed intentionally written to hurt the poor more than help them.

Nontheless, a good cartoon. But, if the gun gets bigger, or the badge gets smaller, guess what will happen.

Only an idiot lib/socialist would want to remove the shield. The funny thing is they can’t/won’t protect themselves.

So why isn’t the family armed? Wouldn’t that take care of crime? I respect, admire and in some instances (like my uncle and grandfather) adore policemen. To that end, I wish to hell (as do they) that we’d institute and enforce real gun laws so that they have the advantage over the criminals.
