I’m very aware of the Harper scandal and the upcoming elections as I watch The National often here in northern Maine. However, unless Quebec secedes or Canada decides to attack its’ southern neighbor you’ll not see much Canadian news on U.S. television.
At the moment, there is an election going on, way too long a campaign. The poll show a very close race (the Mike Duffy scandal is a real factor, Harper has been caught in a lie). The US may take notice if the NDP wins, they are a socialist party. Go NDP!!!
I for one am thrilled that the NDP has just won a majority landslide in Alberta, Canada, after 43 years of Conservative rule. That was pretty big news in Tim Horton’s!
And for the record, just because we don’t have a zillionaire mega-goon with bad hair trying to lampoon his way into the constitution doesn’t mean that we’re a bore …
