Interesting, we’re in the middle of an extreme heat-wave right now. Vienna has been having 35ºC+/95ºF+ for the past couple of weeks, sometimes hitting 38ºC/100ºF. The number of record 35ºC+ highs the past few weeks outnumber the number of times recorded over the past 10 years put together.
I’m therefore curious what the outcome is going to be in terms of deaths.
Meanwhile, if you want to know what happens when a country forgets to prepare for increased demand on their infrastructure, read about their rolling blackouts, ‘load-shedding’
My knowledge of the present, AND history, is the basis for knowing that climate change, caused by humans as the far largest factor, by a factor of several thousand times over “nature”, means we need to get our act together. “Renewables” are rapidly gaining, tech-wise and economics-wise on “traditional” use of fossil fuels. WE need to do more, sooner.

Hmm, but climate change is a fraud and humans have no role in causing it, or responding to global warming?
