I could never have any plants because my cats would tear them up and dig in the soil. Some plants are actually toxic for cats. And, a lot of people use a spray water bottle as a disciplinary tool to keep cats off places they don’t want them to be.
it could be worse. when i was a kid my mom had so many plants that some were in unsafe places, i.e., she watered them and the t.v. got watered as well. not good for the t.v. on, the other hand, it was the turning point for mom. it’s when she got into horticulture as a professional she was happier and our tv was safe
