I don’t think that is an option, Zack?

When I was in Korea, the “no shoes in the house rule” was also in practice.

Most Asian countries have a “no shoes in the house” rule and good hosts have shoe cupboards near the front door containing a sizable selection of slippers or plastic sandals for guests, that applies even in houses where the floors are packed dirt (yeah, I don’t get it, either).

I love the idea of walking around in my socks; but I have cats, lots of them. (if I didn’t have a husband and son around I’d be a cat lady) So walking around without shoes is done at your own risk. The usual saying around the house is: eww what did I just step in??

Now the vacuum cleaner will need to be used and we will have to listen to the humming/vibrating sound it makes until all of the debris is removed. Then we will need to use that other machine to suck all the dirt from Cagney’s paws.
