I have kind of a reverse thing of this. I’ll hear a song and will trigger a scent memory. For instance, whenever I hear “Shambala” by Three Dog Night I can smell the ocean (my family stayed at the beach for a week the summer that song came out); and Elton John’s version of “Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds” brings the scent of oil-based paints (from my Paint-By-Numbers phase).

Oh, just what mother wanted to hear. I would have thought it was Jeri, not Teena who lost the food in the sofa.
