Reminds me of our first “leaving the home” time with our first baby to visit the grandparents. We took way too much stuff “just in case”, and seeing as they were close to stores… The baby neve even touched the floor, as she was passed around from hands to hands, so we didn’t need all those mats and safety things…but it taught us a lesson that our mothers did know best, and that babies aren’t made out of glass…
