When we were kids, my little brother and I were fishing off a small dock. He bent down to tie his shoe and his line twitched just as he started to stand up. He lost his balance reaching for the pole, which he had leaned up against a piling. He windmilled for several seconds like he was in a cartoon before he fell in the water. I laughed so hard I was crying. Fish got away with his bait too. It became an inside joke between the two of us for decades.
