A memory: One time my husband had sprained his middle finger and it needed a splint. At the time he had a Renault R5 (aka Le Car…look it up). The Le Car had levers for everything, including headlights & horn. One time he was taking a turn and the splinted finger accidentally hit some, so the person in the other lane thought that he was flashing his headlights, honking the horn…AND “flipping the bird”…at them!
