I had a student…class clown ask me what I would do if he hid a bomb in my car…..I responded I’d thank him….which was not what he expected….“You’d thank me?”…I said yes…because between he and my insurance company, I’d be driving a brand new car instead of the old trap I was driving!!!The whole class got a laugh out of it.(I knew to begin with he wasn’t serious).

Why don’t we just see? Give her the money for the bagel with cream cheese and see if she doesn’t eat it and then go home! I would.

Since the cost of the bagel was not offered, or even implied, Teena will first have to go and find a job that will hire a preteen, then, after finally getting a paycheck, will have to remember what the order was. This could drag out for months.
