Soon we will live in a world without land animals and we will have fish in the ocean again………….. We will be vegetarians and eat a good tasting, healthy, balanced diet by preparing vegetables and fish properly with herbs and spices. Currently, it is not the norm here in North America, however with the proper knowledge and ingredients it is possible………….

People ask the difference between a leader and a boss… The leader works in the open, and the boss in covert. The leader leads, and the boss drives.

BP is a corporation. It can do no wrong. It does what’s best for the American people.

Any attempts to regulate BP, or any American corporation, is the sign of a liberal, unpatriotic, anti-constitutional, “neosocialist” (nod to ANandy on that one, even though he doesn’t know what it means), atheist, terrorist-loving, Glenn-Beck-hating, (darn, so many adjectives I’ve long since forgotten what noun I’d planned to use), evolutionist, pro-science (pressing on!), non-white-supremacist, christian-bashing, ACLU-loving, Baptist-hating, church-and-state separationist (dang…what was that noun???), abortion-loving, Nambla-supporting, non-gay-hating, (oh, yeah!) DEMOCRAT!

    Tony,

    “Neo-socialist” doesn’t mean anything.

Certainly not when someone like ANandy uses the term, given that he could neither define it nor explain why he thought it applied to me.

But it does have a Wikipedia entry, which amusingly starts out, “Neosocialism was a right-wing political trend represented in France during the 1930s and in Belgium…”

    ANandy calling me “right-wing”!

Instead, I’m sure in fine ANandy-form he was using it in this mindless sense: “Some right-wing commentators use “neosocialism” as a pejorative against people or organizations which do not consider themselves socialist, but which are seen as socialistic by their opponents.”

    Tony,

That same article stated that the term was used primarily by News Corpse talking heads.

Anthony, that’s not far enough. It’s used as a pejorative against people who are not socialists, by people who are too ill-informed or stupid to realize that they are incorrectly using “socialism” as a synonym for “Communist” or “evil,” and indeed have no idea what socialism is at all.

Jindal was all for drilling when it only meant that 35% royalty the state of Louisiana was getting. Now he whines constantly to be “saved”, by the feds.

Ask for DEregulations and This Is What You Get.

Ironic how Canada has laws requiring Oil Companies to drill multiple wells incase the same type of well blowout happens off their coast.

And even more ironic is how BP had asked Canada - just days before the Gulf blowout - to allow them to drill a well where they wanted with no backup well - - and Canada said NO!!

    Or go one step further.

Email them, and tell them you don’t do ANY business with spammers.

In my private fantasy world, that makes a difference.
