    thank you gentlemen.

i was hoping it was based on something LOGICAL, but when i saw that “senor” had achieved that status i knew that money/connections had to be involved…

gee, sounds just like the government.

well, at least gocomics grants “freedom of speech” - i just wonder to whom they sell email addresses…

What difference does it make? 1000 dead, is still 1000. Sons, daughters, brothers ,sisters, spouses, friends. Just a few of types people they were. All of them will be missed.

Just to be clear: Obviously they’ll all be missed. Their deaths were all needless and tragic. I’m being sarcastic here.

Well, at least Jordaner won’t be missed. The mods finally woke up.

Ted: They shouldn’t have been there in the first place. The ones who should (if anybody) are Cheney, Limbaugh, Blankfein, Hayward, and Prince.

Good point. Here’s a chart of the American dead in all our wars, published today:

The Parable of the Old Man and the Young

So Abram rose, and clave the wood, and went, And took the fire with him, and a knife. And as they sojourned both of them together, Isaac the first-born spake and said, My Father, Behold the preparations, fire and iron, But where the lamb for this burnt-offering? Then Abram bound the youth with belts and straps, And builded parapets and trenches there, And stretchèd forth the knife to slay his son. When lo! an angel called him out of heaven, Saying, Lay not thy hand upon the lad, Neither do anything to him, thy son. Behold! Caught in a thicket by its horns, A Ram. Offer the Ram of Pride instead. But the old man would not so, but slew his son, And half the seed of Europe, one by one.

    Wilfred Owen

^^ He expressed opinions, like you just did. We need that in democracy.

And why don’t YOU try to draw editorials if you’re so smart?

Holy cow. People who do not understand irony should not be allowed to read editorial cartoons.

No, boydevon, people who can’t convey a clearer message within a cartoon shouldn’t be allowed crayons. Sorry, Ted, this read like a New Yorker cartoon for me.
