Wall Street is carrying Hillary Clinton to her coronation on a throne, but the way is blocked by Bernie Sanders supporters who are angry at the bankers who are helping her.
A certain amount of antipathy towards Hillary from progressives is warranted, in my opinion. However, I shudder to think what happens if a progressive third party movement causes a republican to be elected.
How much responsibility does Nader have for Bush’s win over Gore? Yes, I know he had every “right” to run. And yes, Al Gore is an insufferable, condescending, pompous fellow. And, yes, the Supreme Court appointed Bush—but without Nader we would not have spent blood and treasure on useless wars. Therefore, in consideration of the incredible damage “W” did to the US, it would be sad to sacrifice the country’s best interests simply because Hillary is a deeply flawed candidate. In my opinion, she’s a warmonger, and lacks the temperament to be a good leader. Plus, I simply don’t like listening to her. I don’t much care for her husband, either, but he left the country in pretty good shape compared to George W. Bush. So these things have to be taken in context.
Most importantly, you have to consider the opposition! I used to be a republican until they became so weird I couldn’t even begin to support them. In contrast to the field or republicans whose economic and social policies are so deeply flawed, Hillary isn’t “so” bad.
So, it pains me to say, but I’m with Old Coal on this one and will hold my nose, sigh deeply and pull the lever for her if (when) she’s the nominee.
Well, now that Biden may throw his hat into the ring, we may have a rational choice for our next President. Hillary has too much baggage, Bernie is far too socialist – he might as well join the Communist party. So Joe is my pick!
What if all the current Republican candidates were to form independent parties. That would be fun. The Walker Wanna Be’s, the Huckabee Holies, the Bush Whackers, and so on.

Sanders won’t run on a third party ticket. Trump, however, is very much interested in that idea. It gives him even more spotlight.
