A hundred years ago, women were advised to wash their hair no more than eight times a year.

My stylist recommends that I don’t wash my hair more than twice a week – but I just can’t do it!

You’ll outgrow it at around 60. At least I did.

This has to do a lot with how often you wash your hair and with what. Your body goes crazy and loses the PH balance if you wash your hair too often and with a lot of chemical shampoos. If you leave it alone for a while (when you’re on holiday for example) your hair will get very greasy and then start go get less and less greasy after a while (might take a couple of months and you need to be in a relatively clean-air environment) and then use natural products (such as soap made out of ash, olive oil, and chamomile and honey) to wash it once a week or so. Your body will naturally regulate the grease production and return to a normal PH.
