Why can’t they say the shark is about 20 feet long?

Not sure why they bothered with such a small fossil shark. Estimates for C. megalodon vary between 50 and almost 100 feet. Its teeth are easily 4 times the size of a great white.

The article “an” refers to the exhibition game in this case as there could have easily been more than one of these played on this date.

Depending on which of the many calendars man has created there could be several but I’m guessing they are talking about the fact baseball runs several games a day.

It’s questionable if Jackie Mitchell’s performance was genuine

Yea two things about the exhibition game. Was it a publicity stunt to get headlines? Or from the stories I’ve read about the off field activities of players of that era there was a good chance they have had one or two too many drinks.

If not and she was that good one wonders why they have to divide it up into boys and girls even to this day.

I just assumed Jackie was a boy. Again, I also have no idea what an Exhibiition Gamee is.English, or Anglo-American is now the most widely used and spoken language on Earth. No one speaks it correctly and almost no two speakers separated by more than a hundred miles or 50 years many times have no idea what the other is talking about.A shark as long as a two story building is tall? All news bobble heads on TV report the length of anything in football fields. Google length conversion “building story” to “football field”. Reference previous comment on English, I recently saw the term “football pitch” to measure the length of something. Knowing that in most of the world outside the USA football is USA soccer and if “pitch” is a soccer field what in the heck is the length of a “pitch”? And I have made a ton of grammatical errors in this drivel, but at least we got easy verbs.
