Actually the husband of “Sweet Cakes by Melissa” is always home, because his family runs the business out of their home. Because their business was vandalised and the Oregon Dept. of Labor shut their place down fined them $135,000 and tried to destroy their freedom of speech. Opinions are one thing, Luckovich. Just making s__t up is another.
While the cash award is totally ludicrous, if you have PUBLIC BUSINESS, if you don’t want to serve everyone, based on religious bigotry, run a church, not a bakery.
“The Rainbow stands for Community, not just Gay. ".Missed my point. I will not call attention to myself by coloring my profile pic. Battled in the arena of ideas in direct opposition of people I’m close to, but (to me) it was the right thing to do..I’m very close to a few lesbians; so they know fully well where I stand and that’s good enough for me.
If you have bills to pay and a business to run wouldn’t you welcome all legal business transactions that pay upfront or when the goods are delivered. Or am I thinking of a different operating base for businesses. I know my lender, landlord and distributor wants to be paid.
