    There weren’t enough caves for dwellings.Nor were most of them well placed for dwellings.

    Things in caves keep better than things out in the open.

    If all you can is those things in caves, you mistakenly think that’s where they lived.

    The caves stronger and will survive the blustering winds of storms for a lifetime. The ‘lean-to’ won’t.
