Except that I want to see blue-collar time for white-collar crime. And Mr. Deth can be gainfully employed to mete that punishment out. He and Madame Defarge.

To me, the end game is money is power. And there is the propaganda of scape goating the blue collar because while collar crime is more henious, in that they destroy countless people’s economic security. It used to be recognized that depriving the worker of just wages was a crime that called out to the heaven’s for vengance.

During the Bush regency, the only economic criminal who got jail time was… wait for it… Martha Stewart.

I like Mr.Rall’s Analogy. It assumes that murder was already legal and in order to tackle the problem Congress will pass laws regulating the symptom, not the source.

Leading me to say once again, I’ll believe it when I see it.

Jeff Skilling of Enron did go to jail, where he’s waiting on his appeal to the Supreme Court.

However, the point to me is that minor player Martha Stewart was the object of an intense investigation, while Bernie Madoff didn’t get caught till his own sons turned him in, which happened a month after Obama was elected.

Skilling should get his hearing, sometime after Kagan retires from the Court with Roberts.

    ReasonsVentriloquist,

    That was mis-information, not dis-information.

Still, it got some interesting replies.
