And sometimes, not putting boots on the ground means more American sneakers IN the ground.Thank God our troops have responded to recent threats so we don’t have to bury anymore of our civilians like the 3000 Americans murdered on 9/11.Thank You Military and God Bless!

Noooo. See we’re a lot more free than when “we” decided to invade Iraq.

4,400+ American soldiers dead, hundred of thousands of Iraqis dead (not that they matter, you know), 32,000 casualties, plus uncounted PTSD casualties. Total destabilization of the region. (O’ course, Haliburton and The Dick made tons of money.)

Eternal thanks to The Decider and The Dick for the invasion of Iraq, the gift that keeps on giving.

“Freedom, isn’t Free” – what was it the founding fathers said? “We pledge our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor” — AND “never have so many owed so much to so few”

I remember my friend Dave. He and I drove down to New York together in the spring of 1967 to go to the big anti-war demonstration. Then he got drafted and went to Vietnam and died. He died in a war he didn’t believe in.

God Bless every American soldier for their volunteer service to defend our way of Life. I pray those who gave the ultimate sacrifice were born-again soldiers of Our Lord Jesus Christ, then they are in line for eternal blessings and rewards in God’s Heavenly Kingdom.-Unfortunately, the alternative to boots on the ground may be taking a USA White Flag to the Muslim Brotherhood, the root and source of global Jihadist Terror and conquest.-Is “Surrender” the majority Motto, nowadays?

They’re certainly “serving their country” very nicely by drone-bombing weddings in Afghanistan and arming, training and funding jihadi cannibal headhunters in Syria.

There is a bargain at work. The soldiers go in for a period of hard work, extreme boredom, and bouts of terror that may end in their death.

In exchange, we (the people) and our elected officials are expected to not throw their lives away stupidly or on false premises, and certainly not to enrich the pockets of their closest friends.

Soldiers may not be paragons of virtue, but they’ve held their end of the bargain up a lot better than “we” have.

The Roman empire had a custom: The children of every senator who voted for war were placed on the front lines. Only when Neocons feel the same pain from war as the poor families whose children die in the Neocons’ war will it stop.

@Jase….Jesus, God the Son in human flesh, gave His sinless life to pay for the sins of every child of Adam.-Salvation is God putting the repentant sinner “into Christ” for eternal salvation. All the saints in Heaven were former sinners, whatever the label. The Bible teaches everyone who will read what constitutes “sin” in the eyes of God.All Jews and all Gentiles must choose Jesus for salvation, because Jesus is the exclusive Savior chosen by God the Father. Each saved sinner becomes “born-again” and become soldiers in God’s Army of Believers. In this life we are warriors against Satan and his temptations to sin. It is a Spiritual War. But God gave Man authority to govern, Romans chapter 13. Under legitimate government, and especially in the USA, the First Duty of the citizenry is to defend the nation. Therefore, Christians join the US Military.-If a Gentile, or a Jew, refuse God’s offer of salvation and die unsaved, then whatever their chosen lifestyle, they are not “in Christ” and do not have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. The Lamb is “The Lamb of God” the Passover taught since the Exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt under leadership of Moses. The Passover was the symbol for the Promised Savior, Jesus of Nazareth, whose coming fulfilled dozens of Old Testament prophecies, who became “The Lamb of God” on the cross, in order to shed His Holy blood that God the Father used to cover our sins. Jesus’ Righteousness is given to every repentant sinner seeking salvation.-Is it worth it to choose a lifetime of 80 years or so to live in defiance of God as an atheist? Or to choose to live in an openly sinful life of “my way” and not God’s way? Eternity with Satan in the Lake of Fire is not my idea of a “wise choice”! Revelation chapters 21 and 22 describe eternal life with God for all who pray for God in the name of Jesus to forgive our sins and grant us eternal life with Him.

AFGHANISTAN!So anytime use of military force is brought up, you liberals just point to Iraq(Which your hero Shrillary voted for) and all available evidence pointed toward Saddam working on obtaining a nuke. Which he was.Judging by the comments here you would’ve let Al Queda and OBL continue to plan and execute attacks under the protection of the Taliban and killed thousands of more American civilians. Nice.No wonder kids these days think Memorial Day is a BBQ festival marking the start of summer.

@Ngn33r, you are quite wrong in your judgment of my posts.I “long for” only the promised “catching away” of Christ’s earthly church believers (1 Thessalonians 4:13 to 18).-No humans can alter or change God’s scheduled events as outlined in the Bible. Mankind has been in the “end times” since the days of the birth of the Bride of Christ, the Church, in Jerusalem in 33 A.D.-I do not “advocate” religious conflict. I did not cause the Islamic Global Jihad in 1979. They are the biggest cause of a “world aflame”. I do advocate defending America, Jihad’s #1 target, and defending Israel, Jihad’s #2 target.-I continue to post and plead for all readers to hurry and choose Jesus as Savior, so that as many as possible will be living for God and in line for His rewards. I praise God for His not being willing for any human to perish, by refusing His offer of salvation on His terms….He is the Sovereign God of the Universe! His love for humanity is what gives us opportunity to be saved, but He does not give us endless time to do that-The Taliban enforces Sharia’s cruel and inhumane laws, I do not call for our government to meddle in God’s Church business, and I do not call for any sort of theocracy to be adopted by ours or any other earthly government. God’s Kingdom and Law will come when God decides it is time for Jesus to return to Jerusalem.-You misjudge me totally. I would like you to be saved, Ngn33r.

@Painter….it isn’t a matter of “feeling”….you just believe what Jesus said….He told the thief dying on one of the crosses beside of Jesus who asked Him to remember him when Jesus comes into His Kingdom (the thief believed in Jesus),Jesus told him "Verily, I say to thee, Today you will be with Me in Paradise.-Our final destination is settled before we die physically. There are at least 2 Judgments….the first is the Judgment Seat of Christ for believers only, for the purpose of reviewing our earthly works for either rewards or loss of rewards; then after the Millennium there is the Great White Throne Judgment for unbelievers only, where Jesus decides what degree of punishment based on evil works done in the earthly lifetime. -Feelings are irrelevant. Believing what God said in the Bible should lead to Faith and Trust in all God’s promises. The guarantee is that God cannot lie and God always keeps His promises. Jesus’ sinless death and shed blood and His resurrection are the guarantee of salvation that He says is impossible to lose….John 10: 27 through 30.-God’s Salvation Plan is the same for every human. It is salvation from the wages of sin which is eternal death. You must hear the Good News of God’s offer, you must believe Him and you must put all your trust and faith in Jesus.

I like the simplicity. The colors are nicely executed. From a slight distance, the clouds with the pole in the center remind me of an orange nuclear blast I saw in a photo. An atoll It reminded me of a doughnut.
