They ought to have Bush standing next to him. Clearly we have not found a really effective way to create stability in the Middle East. Perhaps we just have to let them fight it out among themselves. At least we wouldn’t have to waste human lives and another trillion dollars.
Don’t forget Press Secretary Earnest Lee Sincere’s unbelievably stupid comment about how we can’t light our hair on fire every time we have a setback. This while ISIS is lighting people on fire!If Obama and Co. lit their hair on fire at every setback, by now they’d all look like James Carville with third degree burns.
ISIS’ beginnings can be traced to the Second Gulf War in 2003, when the U.S., along with a small coalition of other nations, invaded Iraq and toppled dictator Saddam Hussein.
Amongst the diverse insurgency fighting coalition forces and new Iraqi government was the extremist Islamic group al-Qaida in Iraq.
ISIS was formed out of the al-Qaida affiliate in April of last year and led by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, a mysterious jihadist who is believed to have been born in Iraq in 1971.http://www.christianpost.com/news/who-is-isis-4-important-facts-about-the-ruthless-terror-group-in-iraq-124853/
ISIS did not exist when Obama got in office..Actually, ISIS/ISIL was about 4 years old by that point..You can find documentation for that fact all Over the Internet.
also @Ted Lind“Perhaps we just have to let them fight it out among themselves. At least we wouldn’t have to waste human lives and another trillion dollars.”
If we do that (and I don’t disagree, BTW), what do you believe will emerge?
I believe that what will emerge will look a lot like Saddam’s Iraq, only ethnically cleansed.

So, John Locke, when was the mission “accomplished” in Iraq exactly? What was the mission?

Appears that Ramirez just doesn’t understand the consequences of Bush & Cheney’s disastrous invasion of Iraq!

Well, golly, we should re-invade.
I mean, we’ll be treated as liberators this time, for sure.
And remember, it’s not about oil. It was never about oil.

I find it funny that conservatives are always trying to put Obama in George W Bush’s clothing, pictures, and words.

Does Ramirez realize he’s drawn EXACTLY how accomplished the mission was, WHEN BUSH SAID IT??
