I actually agree it was a dumb gathering, But what happened to all the liberal media that claimed an “art project” showing the Virgin Mary covered in feces was a great display of the 1st Amendment and now because it’s a Muslim picture, they’re outraged?
Oh YAY!!! This idiot cartoonist is equating hornets (insects) with people, and otherwise free people who “offend” them as idiots. It’s good to see how some people “think.”
If Christians decided that people who worked on Sundays should be beaten-up, and announced to the world their new edict, would you decry this fanaticism, or would you bow in acceptance to it?
DOING that which a religion tells us not to do (or visa versa) is what this country is all about. South Park TRIED to do this once, and Comedy Central were cowed into submission, because “offending” Muslims is dangerous, but making fun of Christians is perfectly fine—because when was the last time a Christian beheaded or blew-up somebody?
Obviously, being ruled by fanatical religious nuts isn’t so much of a problem to some folks—even though they’ll turn them into stinging insects in order to form analogies to support their idiotic opinions.
Not really a smart comparison to use hornets/wasps considering they are a real pest problem and are usually removed due to how fast they build their nest leading to safety concerns.
Ask someone in Gaza about poking that other religion with a stick, even if they’ve locked you in your hive and thrown away the key, you have no excuse, right?
Every time I see a radical Orthodox Jew (both sexes) on the street I wonder about all the mocking of Muslim dress and custom.
Let’s try this again. The extremist criminals who opened fire in Texas were out to prevent ANY depiction of Mr. Muhammad, not simply the denigration of him. To avoid ANY depiction of Muhammed is to submit to the heckler’s veto and allow gunpoint censorship.Reminds me of those white southern ‘law enforcers’ in the South who tried to prohibit civil rights marches and rallies on the grounds that it would ‘stir up’ the local white citizens.
