So any attack on your country which kills civilians is perfectly justified since they choose to be/remain citizens of the most evil nation the world has ever seen.
There was an Italian named Julius Grabbaladonne who, when he got to Ellis Island, was convinced to Americanise his name to Julius Caesar. He wrote some books about war, and divided gaul into three chapters. He said generals must do everything they can to avoid civilian casualties..Just goes to show how completely out of touch Julius is with modern warfare, when killing off everyone, civilian and military, is considered the best way to win a war.
Collateral civllian casualties caused by drones: 18%, caused by standard bombs, missiles and artilllery= 80-87% of fatlities are “collateral” damage.
Yes by all means, don’t stand or lie next to your kidnappers, your death is then YOUR fault!
The best way to have avoided collateral damage in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, or other “collateral” countries damaged by OUR WARS, would have been never to have started them in the first place.
Given the recent flap about fatal encounters with cops, how about that “good cop” brigade of Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld and the crew, jumping on their Keystone Kopp car and capturiing bin Laden and Saddam in just 6 days with absolutely no damge left in their wake. No, wait, that would be more like apprehending a shoplifter by hacking off his arms with a machete, stabbing him in the neck to paralyze him, and then shooting him, in the back in self-defense.
Intelligence is critical, and in hostile country held by your target, it’s maginal yet still considered “accurate enough” under the circumstances.
Not a fan of the current POTUS, but this one was uncalled for. in ANY military operation 100% success is not guaranteed. While the results were unfortunate I don’t see how this can be pegged on Obama..…and I really criticizing a liberal cartoonist in defense of President Obama? What the heck is in my coffee this morning???

Things like this are going to happen, given the nature of the opposition. 100% is impossible. All we can hope for is that we do the best we can.
