Because they chose not to use the deflated ball systemfor which their coach, Bill Belichick is now paying the price.

That wasn’t why the Patriots won. It was because Pete Carroll mismanaged his timeouts. His play calling was sound, but he lost that game three plays before that play by burning a timeout. That’s what everyone gets wrong.

Yeah, usually people forget the details and remember the main idea or theme of the situation. Unless you’re a cartoonist (and writer and playwright and etc) and you need to remember details for the story to work.Oh! Teddy is a Seahawks fan! Poor Teddy, having that freaked out angry face!

They didn’t have first and goal from the one. It was second and goal. They had first and goal from the five. The problem was that the Seahawks only had one timeout, so if they had run the ball and been stopped, they would have had to use their last timeout there, which meant third down had to be a pass, because a failed run would have meant game over with no fourth down. Because Seattle only had one timeout and three plays, at least one play had to be a pass, and it couldn’t be fourth down (because again, two failed runs means game over).

Hey, the Seahawk may have lost that year, but Pete Carroll is still a good coach.

As a die hard 49ers fan, that was the most satisfying Super Bowl I have ever watched. It finally shut those cocky Seahawks fans up.

patriots won out of complete skill. just if your least favorite team lost it does not mean they cheated. what if your team cheated? you would deny it even if its true. but the reff was being fair.

I still remember watching that Super Bowl. Probably the wildest thing I’ve seen on Super Bowl Sunday since Tracy Porter’s pick-6 in Super Bowl XLIV. And then I saw Super Bowl LI… 28-3…
