Humans change cereals? Ha! As Hobbes intimates in the last panel > tigers enjoy exciting others.

Little does Calvin realize that cereal with raisins has more sugar in it than sugar-coated cereals.

Notice how Hobbes’s body is curved in the first panel. No human could do that. It’s the way housecats typically look when they run downstairs on their two hind legs and then jump over the bottom few steps. Or, Calvin and Hobbes are near the top of the stairs and Hobbes is jumping onto the handrail to ride down.

Kids love routine, traditions, and rules. They provide consistency and guidance in an often confusing world. And when you’re 6, why worry about eating healthy? You’re immortal. Chocolate-frosted sugar bombs forever!

Calvin generally is lacking in moral fiber as well as food fiber, and raisins have natural sugar, not refined empty calories.

@neverenoughgold: Yes, I did see a cat run downstairs on just its hind legs, but now I’m thinking that maybe I was watching Tom and Jerry.
