Half the people who vote don’t pay taxes. The correlation is not strong.

The bots can soon learn that taxation can still be tyranny even with representation.

Too true! And pschearer, the robots can’t vote, so they have no representation, like the folks in DC.

Nabuquduriuzhur: I had a similar experience in the 1960s. Tired of going 20 miles for model supplies, we organized a cooperative. At this time, REI was strictly in Seattle, and no one had any experience with consumer co-ops. I spent an afternoon at the Dallas library trying to find out what form we needed to file our corporate income tax on. No luck. I went to the IRS and they came up with an answer, I said, No that’s for …" and we had that exchange three or four times. Each time, they looked it up and found I was right. It became obvious to all concerned that I knew more about consumer cooperative tax law than they did. Ultimately, we filed on a standard business form, but with an extra sheet of “translations”. “Where it says stockholders, we mean members”, etc. No problems. You just have to know the law better than they do.
