Poor little bugger. If only she’d known. Brightens up the snow, of course – all that blood and feathers …

The first robin doesn’t mean that spring has arrrived. When you see your first bug, that’s when you know it’s spring.

“Reflection of the sky off the window.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Exactly! Reflections of other houses would tend to make them avoid that window..

This is the first time I wish we didn’t have colored comics. When I read this here at 6 a.m. (while eating of course) I was grossed out. I just finished my local paper. The same strip in b&w doesn’t have the same impact.

@AlAround here, convertibles are only useful a few days out of the year. The rest of the time, it is frostbite, sunburn, or soaking.

Once, a Thai friend came over to visit us and I pointed to a robin. He said, “Can you eat it?”. I replied, “If you can catch it, you can cook it.”

I remember hitting a bird that took off right in front of my car when I was in England. I looked in my rear view mirror and all I saw was a whole bunch of feathers.
