Do understand being invisible. But what’s worse is finding out when you were young and thought no one was noticing, they actually were and you didn’t know it. Damn wisdom !!!

The young hotties not so much. They’re usually all looks and not much else, so I never much cared. Instead, there was a couple of decades there when being a “cub” was highly rewarding and by far the best way to go. Ah, yes indeedy, thems was the good old days. Now the cougars don’t notice me, either. Sigh.

Once you get married, especially very happily married, its just amazing how women who wouldn’t give you a second thought now seem to think you are appealing. Some think its because of the safety factor. You are committed so there is no chance that you would seek a long lasting relationship with them, thus they can have fun playing around and still keep their freedom. Whatever it sucks….

You know all those nerds back in High School that were beneath you to notice them? A lot of them are very rich today.

The ladies can’t seem to get enough of my salt and pepper locks, the crow’s feet around my eyes and my witty tales of a time when there were only 3 networks, phones didn’t have cameras and cameras didn’t have memory. Getting old ain’t all bad.

As women age, they recall the men they could have had. Men think of the women they couldn’t …..

It’s important to remember that when Bernie talks about being invisible, he literally means he was invisible.

What’s the attraction of “level ground”? The scenery there is beautiful.

If you’d bothered to look, you’d have seen lots of attention. Of course that doesn’t mean you had a chance. It was (and is) a lot more complicated than that.

Funny to see men worry about being ignored by waitresses and cashiers. I didn’t know that was a thing. I was just on a college trip to savannah Georgia which was full of young and beautiful. It never occurred to me to be worried about young hotties ignoring me.

My father would give them a chance to notice him and then start tapping his keys on the table. (He couldn’t speak due to laryngectomy due to smoking.).If they didn’t take the hint and stop talking to their boyfriends long enough to give him service, he tapped louder..Ere long, they came to silence him..It was embarrassing, but got us service in a reasonable time..In fact, after a while, they noticed the first time he signaled. They may not have come instantly, but they did signal they had seen and would be there as soon as reasonably possible.

Waitresses who want big tips notice you, and they make sure you notice them noticing.
