Everyone knew there would be a tax penalty for not signing up for Obamacare from day one. This is not news, this is just a partisan pundit trying to rally the teabaggers. (And it’ll work.)

Just as with the bill that mandated Medicare could NOT NEGOTIATE DRUG PRICES, hugely increasing costs, and profits for corporations, came from Republican endeavors, so too did most (not all) of the screwups in the PPACA that were designed to increase INDUSTRY PROFITS, regardless the cost to the taxpaying middle class.

Not supposed to notice that most of the fat in the bill wasn’t pork, it came out of an elephant’s behind.

from my copy of the Declaration and Constitution:(the 1791 addition to the 1789 Bill of Rights) “the powers not delegated to the United States by the Const’n, or prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the People.” Plainly, only certain powers were delegated or granted by the People. Those powers were then enumerated in the Const’n. The rest were reserved to the states—-or to the people, never having been granted to either level of government.-“To illustrate how enumeration limits power, consider the General Welfare Clause of Article 1, section 8. Were the passage containing that clause to be read simply as authorizing Congress to tax and spend for the general welfare, as some read it today, Congress would have been granted all but unlimited power and the enumeration of other powers would have been to no purpose. Thus, the passage must be read as permitting spending only for enumerated ends; and the clause RESTRICTS SUCH SPENDING TO THE GENERAL WELFARE ONLY, not to the welfare of particular parties.”-but political schemes do not care that by twisting and adding or subtracting to the constitution they alibi the abuse of the constitution, and violate the oath every politician must swear to, to defend the actual Constitution as written, ratified and adopted as Law.-(I hope the spirits of the Founders haunt Congress and the White House, until the guilty oath-breakers repent and change this virtual shredding of our Highest Law of this USA)

Russia, aka, a republic in the former Soviet Union has a 13% flat income tax. Time for a change at home.

“Flat tax is a gouge at the poor, and a great deal for the rich.”.The rich DO NOT want a flat tax. With our present tax code there is alot of flexibility where they can hide assets, acquire tax shelters and generally shield their wealth from taxes, a flat tax would eliminate that..Romney would not be paying a smaller percentage than I am with a flat tax.
