Winter ends March 9th, and I haven’t seen any of it at my house, again this year.

Which, as to a little history for my area; pitched our tents out in the field, and in the morning, two feet of snow had fallen and the tents nearly collapsed. That was 30 years ago, and the date was June 22!!!

    Our new “normal” sucks!

I don’t have cross-country skis. I cannot take hikes through the many open-to-public lands & trusteeship properties north of Boston, because all the trails are 3-5 feet deep! Guess I’ll have to wait until June to do that again! But, I am very glad for the ski mountains in New England this year! Not only is their business booming, but the don’t have the expense of having to use their snow-making machines! $$$$$$$!

That’s March 19th btw, but spring is here this week, our gas prices have now gone up 45 cents, and it’s because they’re shutting down refineries, so that gas that takes four months or so to get out anyway, is being delayed, so prices go up now. (I’d predected March 13th for the rise in prices, but never underestimate the geed of “big oil”)
