Before the Running of the Bulls, the town of Pamplona first tried to popularize the Running of the Chickens.
It was for the birds.
Danger lurks among those peckerheads!
Guess the town ended up with egg on its face – the yoke was on them.
The event quickly morphed into the chicken soup festival after the runners wandered off and ended up in pots.
Running of the chickens?Aren’t the chickens the people you see before the bulls come in view?
Your comment made me laugh. Good one!

…and, before the Running of the Chickens , Cleo was dreaming of the Running of the Bassets!

For once the Close-To-Home pop-eyes are not an exaggeration. Chickens actually look like that. :-)
Best comment of the day. It is supper time here, and Steak and Eggs still sounds good.
Oh, please!
