So many things out of the closet, including collusion, corruption, fraud, etc. All blatantly obvious, & accep- ted since voting does not prevent, nor deter greed, & overall crime.

Hey, hey, hey! Just as long as there’s no kissing! There’s plenty of room in the “Big Tent” for greed, corruption, and collusion, but no same sex kissing! They have morals to uphold, donchaknow.

Boehner, in 2005, gave out checks on the Senate floor to fellows in favor of stopping banking regulation initiatives. Not a good Repub in my mind, but just as corruptible as Chris Dodd’s links to Countrywide and AIG, Rangel, yes, and no more prurient than the kickbacks that Goldman Sachs got with bailout thanks to the likes of Paulsen, Tim Geithner, and Mark Patterson, Obama’s boys, now all sucking from the Administrative teat in the Treasury.

The ring bearer is John Bohner. Trust me, I can tell, even though you can’t see the orange tan.

Arlen, you snark, yes, and Paulsen was instrumental in the Merrill Lynch talks, strong-arming, and the support with which Goldman Sachs got its bailouts, and the fact that former GS lobbyist Mark Patterson was a lobbyist that opposed the ‘07 Barney Frank/Obama legislation on bonus caps, now Geithner’s Chief of Staff in the Treasury. Why should the Admin feign disgust about corporations buying ad time, as bolstered by the Supreme Court, when GS gave the ‘08 Obama campaign 954K, becoming its second largest contributor. Despite the fact that for over 23 years Wall St. has bought both parties hook line and sinker, thank you for voting Wall Street into the WH with a vengeance, the errand boy Obummer.

Bush was the “CEO President,” remember? Cheney rearranged our energy policy (and Iraq services) for the benefit of his ex-company. Bush reduced taxes for the rich. I’m not happy with Obama (use his name, willya? I use Bush’s), but the assertion that he is the greater corporate tool is simply wrong.

And today, Obama’s administration just took a whack at Goldman Sachs. Got that crow pie ready, Cap’n? Their stock plummeted, but, typically, they short-sold themselves, which means Goldman made money off their own stock dropping. It also means they violated the law openly by using insider information, since they obviously knew the news was coming.

Czochraj bobra motivemagus lol. Doesn’t matter if Sachs plummeted, my assertion is about all the Sachs cronies in his Administration, partiuclarly the Treasury. And Obama is the most flamboyant errand boy they’ve had, and oh how he feigned indignation when AIG and Merrill received their bonuses. Oy

cfimeiatpap: I ALWAYS make a point to tune in to Moyers Journal (even drinking extra java on a Fri night so’s I can stay conscious past Gwennie Awful and her oh-so-polite centrist panel on Wash Week).

Beyond despondent to accept that MJ (and NOW) is ending at month’s end.

    J. from a month ago. Sorry, friend, I don’t do this much. However, I believe between the two of us, we might articulate a relatively open, honest position. In reference to the present White House, corporate minion/hired manager, if on a November day in 2008, you heard a gnashing of teeth, a self-flagelation and a wearing of sack cloth and ashes which was coming from upper Manhattan, that was me. My estimation of President Obama as Senator Obama was “he’s a pledge to the big boys’ club.” Why didn’t I do anything about it? I tried. Am I the only one who believes the seldom mentioned. feisty, Representative from Ohio (with a 6’3” redhead wife that any honest man would desire and any responsible man would cheer Dennis on) would be the best possible inheritor of that other country bumpkin, Harry S (not a name, an imagined middle initial). No matter how HST screwed up, almost as much as he succeeded, able and willing to stand and say, “This is me, Harry S. Truman, who made that decision and, according to what I knew, would make the same decision today.” Do you think that great “maverick (in his dreams)” would have the courage to stand and declare “The buck stops here!” He didn’t know what a buck was – other than 100 pennies to be traded and offered in a career he felt was easier than his father’s and grandfather’s. Peace (or at least an attempt at), Snar P.S. Since I so seldom go to this site and, because I like your mind and arguments (you really make me stretch to feel superior), if you’re interested, please reply to me at arlen@snarlin.com.
