Obama plays the Blame Game over ancient history while Muslim terrorists are killing us now.

It’s being said like that because the PC Police believe Muslims are a protected class of people, and any attempt to link Islam to terrorism is considered hate speech. sigh

Very insightful…so we invaded the wrong country 1000 years ago? We bombed and droned 1000 years ago? Man, I must have really slept through a few centuries there. Thanks for setting me straight. So what year is it now? Maybe 3003? How will I ever set my calendar?

Ramirez, what country should we invade this time?

Answers from the so-called “conservatives”/Fox “news” viewers also welcome. Be sure to mention why we’ll be treated as liberators.

Amazing how well we create our own enemies. Like a person in a comic book who has super powers.Without a super villain, what good is s/he.

I just can’t believe he brought that up. While true, it’s ancient history. He could have gone more recent, like the Protestants and Catholics killing each other in Northern Ireland, for one example, but that’s beside the point. His statements were guaranteed to be provocative and divisive, and we need no more of either.

I will be willing to accept the phrase “radical Islam” when people who kill (or advocate the killing of) abortion providers (as one example) are called “radical Christian”.

Whether people like to accept it or not, the linking of Islam to terrorism makes it easier for people to assume all Muslims are terrorists. It is unfortunate that people will not make this distinction voluntarily. It is apparent on these forums, in letters to the editor, etc. Ask the Japanese who spent years in internment camps during WWII…like it or not, it invites calls for genocide. Fanning flames rarely helps one put out a fire.

No political squabbling here, just reality. We are bombing ISIS on a daily basis, and unlike Iraq, there is a real coalition, including Arab nations. We are bombing these wankers because we are at war with them, as they threaten the very fundamental principles of our way of life and our civilization. As long as we use drones that can pinpoint strikes and not….er, hit schools and hospitals, we should be for it.An important point to realize is that we should not be amalgamating Radical Islam and Islam as a religion.HOWEVER, the Coran is violent, the Prophet was a warmonger and a skirt-chaser, probably one of the reasons for which Muslim men are machos as, it is part and parcel of in their upbringing and subsequent behaviour from the day they are born. They supposedly venerate their mothers but treat women like shit. Islam is intolerant: try convincing a Muslim that a portrait of the Prophet is not blasphemy, try eating a sandwich in a Muslim country during Ramdam, even in a non Muslim country, go to a Muslim funeral. If it’s a man, the men walk behind the casket, no women allowed. If it’s a woman, the men walk in FRONT of the casket, no women allowed, including the widow!More? I’ve got tons. Muslims live on a different planet….their lives are governed by their religion and they do not tolerate us infidels.

Yes, of course, the Holocaust was perpetrated by radical Muslims. Even if Hitler was a neopagan, he didn’t carry it out single-handed.

When “W” said “crusade” against Islam, it might have been a freudian slip, but it’s exactly what he went for, and we’re still pursuing that aim. If the “bible religions” just let everyone be, and left them alone, I could be more sympathetic, but the fact is that they don’t, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam ALL call in either there original texts, or latter-day “teachings” for the destruction of all other faiths. Revelations from the Christians is the ultimate, convert or die and go to Hell statement, and where Islam picks it up. Joshua and other Old Testment dudes all had the “kill ’em all and let God sort ’em out” attitude of murder for hire being their theology.

The only people that problems with the truth, are left wing liberals. In fact they have problems with logic & reality too.So enlighten us, how is this right wing propaganda? Obama, didn’t say that?? He didn’t condemn Christianity for something that happened 1,000 years ago?? To anyone but a LWNJ, that is just mind blowing & preposterous, but just keep blindly defending your anointed one!

Denis: Clinton shut down Christian Serbs from slaughtering more Muslim kids; that wasn’t a thousand years ago, and yes, they WERE beheading kids, among other things like rape leading to murder, and other “kind, Christian, acts”.
