Yep, think of the poor groundhog today.

Ol’ Phil is gonna need a snow blower to get out of his burrow today.

I heard Phil saw his shadow this morning. How that can happen when Pennsylvania has complete cloud cover, I don’t know.

There are shadows cast even when it’s overcast. Go outside when it’s cloudy and you’ll see. We got about a foot of snow Sunday here in the upper Midwest. The groundhog who disappeared last October into its burrow under our back deck has not yet made an appearance…ribbet.

I would rather leave the groundhog alone and celebrate Imbolc.
