    All these stories about Atlantis, super-advanced technologies, Crystal energy, etc… Plato was the first to “remember” a story which he said he had a manuscript given to him from his grand-father and told to him by Solon, a priest who heard of them from the Egyptians; including a war between the Athenians and Atlanteans which the Athenians won some 900 years earlier. Plato’s version never mentioned any crystal power or telepathic abilities. Perhaps that was part of the story that was “lost”.

    There’s a good chance (my unsupported opinion) the whole Atlantis story was a morality play, never a description of real events. It is a classic warning against excessive pride and arrogance and like all good morality plays, exaggerated for effect.

    Atlantis is probably just ancient tribal stories of when either the Mediterranean or Black Sea flooded.
