I always set aside a bit of my food for my cats, and put the plate down for them when I was done. It kept them from begging because they knew they’d get something.
Don’t know how well that would work with a dog, though.
i actually have come to like this strip much more than the Peanuts we’ve come to know! Snoopy is cuter, and acts much more dog-like, Charlie Brown is boy with a much better attitude and personality (more realistic and “deeper”), and Patty and Sherman are much kinder, too.
