Sorry, racisim is deplorable today in the U.S., but I don’t believe actually any of the officees invovled in this N.Y. case were being “racist”. He was engaged in a criminal activity, though apparently a misdemeanor, and should have cooperated.
Now, “racism” is when folks are harrassed and NOT violating the law, and I’ve got friends with that problem, and in my own case, it was discrimination due to a miitary bumper sticker and out of state plates, not “race”.
