I’ve missed good journalism for decades.

After the Press showed it’s power during the Watergate scandals, the top “voters” determined that the Press will never again oust their man. Slowly, newspapers, and many journals were bought up by major companies and investors. The Press is now largely under their control. Any investigative reporter who gets too “uppity” will be warned by his editor (who was warned from above). If that reporter persists, he will be looking for another job!

And they are still turning a blind eye.

Unfortunately news shows are now mostly entertainment. There are very few that provide the necessary context or do an in depth analysis of a situation. Very few even attempt to cover anything that doesn’t have some immediate sensation or drama attached to it. I am sure the old time journalists are spinning in their graves.

“good journalism” must also be in the “eye of the reader”….Bradlee prostituted Journalism to cover up for Democrat Presidents beginning with JFK and to use as leadership in ousting GOP Nixon. -IMO that is far, far from “good journalism” which must be neutral and not biased and must refrain from campaigns to destroy the opposition by politicizing policy and uses even diseases and their handling, in the crusade to topple GOP leaders, while practicing “no see, no hear, and no report of buddy Democrats”….
