i normally enjoy your strips….. but would have been funny w/o the swear word you used. now, it is just nothing but trash and unfunny to me….

This panel would have been just as funny without the obscenity. I’m always disappointed in comics and artists who feel they need to resort to this tactic to be funny. It’s just not necessary and Mr. Garcia has lost me as a fan.

“Sunny Street” has always been on the edgy side for GoComics. But I agree that taking God’s name in vain, while amusing in some contexts, didn’t add anything to this pun. Take that shovel and bury it.

I agree. The comic is very funny and does not need the obscenity. There is just too much of that these days in places where children are exposed to it.

I’ve never understood dropping a strip you like because there was one cartoon you didn’t like. I wouldn’t have any strips left to enjoy if I did that.
