And this is the very sort of woman who buys the book and watches the movie 50 Shades of Grey. They holler about domestic violence then get hot watching the movie.

Don’t forget men face domestic violence as women. It’s underreported because of social stigma. Bene Gesserit motto is the best way to live

A couple points…first, 50 Shades is a book/movie…much like murder mysteries, and sci-fi, it’s not real..it’s fantasy, and so an escape from mundanity. Secondly, it is not an accurate guide-book for the BDSM culture, and certainly shouldn’t be used as one. So long as such things remain in the fantasy realm, there’s nothing wrong with a person enjoying them. They have not surrendered their morals.

50 shades began as ‘fanfic’ by an amatuer author. It is definitely NOT an example of or a guide to BDSM. The series is strictly just escapism literature.Check out http://www.ohjoysextoy.com/ for indepth info (link good until tomorrow)…

What about when he gets out of jail? Shouldn’t she be taking self-defense classes or gun classes or changing her name and leaving town or something? Is she going to mind-control him to behave?

Even then it may not be enough. Some of these thugs just want the woman dead and it’s worth being arrested to get that done. In my city a woman got a restraining order and went to her home, escorted between two officers, to get him out. He opened the door and shot her dead.

Well, this got people talking… Nevertheless, Fifty Shades of Grey is not a love story. It’s a story about an abusive and manipulative relationship… period.

And then, you visit him in prison. You show the other prisoners the scars he gave you on the way to see him. You tell them his name and ask them to comfort him while he is there. Sometimes, prison justice is the best justice.

You don’t get it. At all. BDSM has strict rules that are followed. Violence has nothing to do with it. No one is more embarrassed than a new dominant being given the safe word by a submissive. Domestic violence is too often born out of insecurity and a sense of inferiority. The abuser feels a need to control and possess the victim. It starts slowly at first, escalating to near-total control of the victim’s life. Any imagined or actual transgression meets with swift punishment. Soon, it takes no trigger for the violence. Too often it ends in death.http://nomore.org/http://joyfulheartfoundation.org/https://www.whengeorgiasmiled.org/aspire-login/
